Brian Williams anchors NBC Nightly News, sure, and he's also a pretty talented rapper. But did you know Allison Williams' dad is also a huge fan of The Bachelorette?!
Well, he is, and on Monday's Late Night With Seth Meyers, the 55-year-old journalist revealed that he and his wife had finally received an invitation to Allison's "invitation-only screening party."
"This is kind of an honor," he said. "I'm the rookie—I can't speak during the broadcast. But it's time! My wife and I are up to speed."
Part of this season's appeal, Brian explained, is that Bachelorette Andi Dorfman is quite different from former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galvais, who "was a troubled man" that "kind of divided us viewers."
But this time around, the news anchor and his wife have nicknames for all of Andi's suitors. "Not all of them are suitable for family viewing, though—even at this hour," he told Seth.
Brian is clearly invested in this season, but don't expect him to predict just who (if anyone!) will receive that final rose. "Just as I wouldn't speculate going into an election night," he said, "I can't speculate on the outcome except to say, Andi, we're with you..."
