Ashley Tisdale's fiancé Christopher French did the heavy lifting for the both of them as they stocked up on groceries at a Trader Joe's in the Los Angeles area on Saturday, July 5, following the Fourth of July holiday.
He carried their two paper bags packed full of necessities, including what appeared to be a bag of romaine lettuce, as they walked on the sidewalk that afternoon, when temperatures reached a high of 92 degrees Fahrenheit. Keeper! (It's unclear if they had to brave one of the popular supermarket chain's notoriously cramped parking lots).
The 29-year-old High School Musical alum carried a bottle of water as they went on their stroll. She wore a black tank top and shorts, paired with peach-colored Nike sneakers and topped with a top bun.
On the Fourth of July, Tisdale shared a photo on her Instagram page, standing on a white boat while wearing pigtails, a loose-fitting white and navy striped crop top and cutoff jeans shorts. But the best part of her outfit was her choice of footwear—the actress wore American flag-themed cowboy ankle boots.

Tisdale and French got engaged on Aug. 8, 2013 and have not announced a wedding date publicly. The actress had her bachelorette party with her besties, including fellow High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens, in May. The latter star, 25, told E! News last month that she will be a bridesmaid at Tisdale's wedding.
