Remember that time it was reported that Adam Levine called up all of his ex-girlfriends to apologize for his behavior during their respective relationships? Well, that never happened.
"I did not say that. That was total fabrication," the Maroon 5 frontman told Howard Stern during an interview in response to the Us Weekly story that came out. "I'd like to clear the record right now, I totally did not do that. That was a very surprising thing to have heard come out."
Levine, who has ditched his blond 'do and gone back to dark hair, continued, "Completely untrue, completely 100 percent untrue. It sounds like a fantastic idea, and that was what was so weird about it too, the angle on it was that it wasn't totally cool to have done that. I kinda wish I had done that. It would've been really nice."
However, the more he thought about it, the more he realized it probably wouldn't have been nice at all.
"It's so selfish and arrogant to call. 'Sorry, it didn't work out between us because you weren't good enough for me.' It's kinda f--ked up to do that actually," he said.
With The Voice coach and Behati Prinsloo's July wedding swiftly approaching, it has been reported that the "She Will Be Loved" crooner has apologized to his famous exes "for how he treated them," a source told Us Weekly of the famous ladies' man.
An insider confirmed to E! News at the time that ex Nina Agdal did receive an email from Adam, adding that the report is true "as far as Nina is concerned."
Meanwhile, Levine and Prinsloo are set to wed in an intimate ceremony in Mexico on July 19.
The wedding will take place at the luxe Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos. The attractive couple will host a rehearsal dinner the night before they exchange their vows and guests will also attend a brunch the day after the wedding, before the newlyweds depart for their honeymoon.
