While one former View cohost was stewing about the end of a friendship over the weekend, another was celebrating the beginning of a new relationship.

Lisa Ling, who logged time on the chatfest's sofa from 1999 to 2002, tied the knot with Chicago-based doctor Paul Song in Los Angeles Saturday. The bride wore a red Vivienne Tam dress for her walk down the aisle, People reports.

View executive producer Bill Geddie was among the 550 guests at the Asian-themed ceremony.

Nowadays, Ling, 33, works as the host of the National Geographic Channel's Explorer and as a special correspondent for the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Song, 41, is a radiation oncologist at Chicago's Little Company of Mary Hospital.

The couple met through mutual friends in 2006 and announced their engagement in January.

Ling was previously engaged to media entrepreneur Philip Levine, but broke off the relationship in 2005.

Though the newlyweds currently reside in Chicago, they plan to relocate to Los Angeles.
