Lupita Nyong'o sure knows how to have a sense of humor about things.
The Oscar winner is currently in Hawaii for the Maui Film Festival and managed to soak up the sun during her down time.
Nyong'o joked on Instagram about being spotted by photographers as she took a swim in the ocean on Wednesday.
"The paparazzi: they got me good!!!" she wrote on a picture showing her fabulous bikini bod and a photog snapping her pic.
She then hashtagged the cute collage, "#FirstPapStakeOut #ZoomLensesSuitableForHorrorFilms"
But let's be real now…the 12 Years a Slave actress looks downright flawless in a white Marysia bikini paired with an oversized hat.
The fashion darling knows how to look stylish even on the beach!
She also posted a second shot showing her lounging and looking at the waves in a white sundress.
"Aloha Hawaii! #MauiFilmFestival #NoFilter."
Nyong'o is attending the film festival to accept the rainmaker award for her success in 12 Years a Slave, as well her 2009 documentary titled In My Genes—which she created, produced and directed.
It's been quite an exciting week for the 31-year-old as it was just announced that she's joining the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
"I can finally say it out loud and proud: I'm going to a galaxy far far away!" she excitedly wrote on her Twitter shortly after the casting news was revealed.
How exciting!
