Well, when one's first name is Dick, a penis joke is inevitably going to rear its ugly head.
Sure enough, that's just what happened on TNT's Inside the NBA last night when the show's cohosts started talking about sucking up to referees during their hoop days.
"You used to kiss up to them," Shaquille O'Neal said to Charles Barkley.
"No, I didn't kiss up up to them," Barkley replied.
To which, O'Neal innocently snapped back with, "Yes you did. You kissed Dick in the mouth."
The quip quickly caused everyone to erupt in laughter, despite the fact that O'Neal was simply referring to NBA official Dick Bavetta.
"That didn't sound good," Barkley remarked as the snickering continued.
And while every effort was made to move the segment along, it was only a matter of time before the guffaws creeped back in.
Of course, it certainly didn't help that Shaq found himself repeating his humorous phrase over and over again.
Yep. Guys will be guys.
