No doubt about this news: Gwen Stefani is in talks to join The Voice.

A source confirms to E! News that the singer's deal to join the NBC singing competition is close to being done.

The mother of three would replace pregnant judge Christina Aguilera on the upcoming seventh season. Stefani would also join fellow newcomer Pharrell Williams, who was recently tapped to fill CeeLo Green's spot. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are expected to return.

NBC had no comment.

Filming will begin in June and the hit series will debut in the fall.

According to TMZ, who first broke the story and is reporting the one-year deal is official, producers began the search in February after Aguilera announced her pregnancy. NBC wanted the 33-year-old pop star to stay, but she was "having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out."

The platinum blond beauty was most recently spotted enjoying a girls' night out with Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie, Naomi Watts, Sam Taylor-Wood and Chelsea Handler at Stella McCartney's birthday bash on Thursday at vegan hotspot Crossroads in Los Angeles.

Stefani also took the stage last weekend at Coachella and performed "Hollaback Girl" with Pharrell.
