Before ice hockey star Julie Chu goes for her fourth Olympic medal in Sochi, she sat down with E! News to dish about—what else?—pop culture.
"I think when you're in the team environment, you end up quoting movies all the time," the 31-year-old athlete revealed. "So, the recent one was Pitch Perfect. Everyone's just bonkers over that. Regardless of your music taste, like everyone was singing and loving it."
Great choice! But what about the quality of the team's vocal chops?
"Not everyone sings well, I'm just gonna preface with that," the Connecticut native answered with a laugh. As for her singing abilities, she sounds "awesome" if she turns up the radio.
As for her main celebrity crush, Will Smith is Chu's choice.
"He's awesome in everything he does," the Olympian gushed.
And if someone were to play her on the big screen, Sandra Bullock would be her No. 1 pick.
But Chu hesitated when she had to choose whether or not she would prefer a spot, as a gold medalist, on a Wheaties box or having her own reality show on E!
Watch the clip above to find out her answer. And best of luck to Julie, and the rest of the women's ice hockey team in Sochi!
And don't forget, E! will be broadcasting live from Sochi, starting Feb. 7.
