The end of 2013 was just the beginning for TJ Thyne and Leah Park!
The Boston-born Bones actor proposed to the model outside a German castle on Monday, Dec. 30. The 38-year-old TV star, who plays Dr. Jack Hodgins, documented his proposal in multiple Instagram pictures. "Our walk…our trail," Thyne tweeted. "SHE SAID YES!!!"
One snapshot shows Thyne on bended knee asking for Park's hand in marriage, while another gives a close-up at the bride-to-be's diamond ring. "Our heart still burning through the night!!" the actor tweeted.
Thyne and his future wife also posed for pictures in front of a horse and carriage. "Thanks so much for all the lovely comments!" he tweeted. "You are all so wonderful."
He also thanked professional photographer Ulrik Eichentopf. "Ulrik is awesome!" Thyne tweeted, adding that the shutterbug "helped me keep the big surprise 4 Leah."
Park later showed off her ring on Instagram and wrote, "He's been planning this moment and searching for the perfect custom made ring for half a year."
On Thursday, Jan. 2, Thyne admitted that he was feeling overwhelmed by all the well wishes he'd received on Twitter. "Wow! Thanks so much to ALL of you for your very appreciated 'congrats!'" the Erin Brokovich star wrote. "Leah & I are having a blast! We couldn't be happier! Mwah!!!"
The lovebirds aren't in any hurry to return home to the United States. "Our adventure continues! HELLO PRAGUE!! Wonderful to see you again!!!" Thyne tweeted. "Happy New Year Everyone!"
