A jury has determined that this woman didn't go all Sharknado on Tara Reid.

Maryam Hassan was found not guilty today of assaulting the actress in a rage at a London nightclub in November 2012.

"Thank you," a tearful Hassan reportedly told the jury after the verdict was read. She then hugged a friend who had been sitting in the courtroom.

The 27-year-old did not talk to reporters outside. In addition to being acquitted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, she was also found not guilty of racially aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress, having been accused of verbally going off on a bouncer outside the club as well.

Per the Daily Mail, which says Hassan is a University of Sunderland graduate and former model, Reid had celebrated her birthday with a dinner at members-only club Annabel's on the night of Nov. 8, 2012, before going to the equally exclusive Beat nightclub in the West End.

In a statement that was read out in court, Reid gave her account of what happened: "I noticed a female who kept approaching the table a few times. I didn't know who she was but I guess she was not getting any attention. She came up to me and threw the contents of her drink over my chest. I reacted immediately and threw my drink over her. The club's body guard took her away.

"The same female came back 20 minutes later and she was then taken away. She said, 'I'm not getting kicked out, you whore, you slut.'"

Then, Reid's statement continued, Hassan smashed a glass in her face, leaving the American Pie star with a cut on her forehead, an injured nose and a corneal abrasion. Reid was rushed to a hospital after the incident, according to testimony heard in court.

Hassan had testified that she didnt't mean to hit Reid with the glass, that it flew out of her hand while she was being hustled away by club employees. She admitted to calling the bouncer in question a dirty word, but maintained that she didn't say anything racist, saying that her husband is black and she herself is of mixed-race heritage.

There's been no word from Reid regarding the verdict. She seemed to be in a fine mood a few nights ago, tweeting Monday, "Good night everyone have sweet dreams!"
