Seeing double? Nope, that's Kim Kardashian recreating an iconic photo of Elizabeth Taylor!

Kanye West's fiancée Instagrammed the photos of herself and the late legend, both with their hair wrapped up in towels and gigantic diamond rings on display. She captioned the Dec. 9 black-and-white pic simply "#MyIdol," also adding a diamond ring emoji.

Shortly before Dame Elizabeth passed away in March 2011 at age 79, Kim had the opportunity to interview the Oscar winner and fashion icon for Harper's Bazaar.

Kim, now 33, got the chance to tell Elizabeth she was her idol in person and even ask for beauty, glamour and life tips—including "advice on how to be a queen" like Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen the actress portrayed in 1963.

"I have never wanted to be a queen! Cleopatra was a role, and I am an actor, so it was fun to play one, but it's not real," Elizabeth explained. "The real Cleopatra had an incredibly complicated life, and she had to be very, very canny to survive as long as she did. For me, the most interesting thing about her was her passion. The things that are important to me—being a mother, a businesswoman, an activist—are all things that were borne out of great passion."

Kim also admitted to being "a huge Elizabeth Taylor nerd," complimenting her idol on possessing "the world's most iconic jewelry collection." Elizabeth's personal favorite piece from her collection was the 33.19 carat Krupp diamond, which she described as having "such life and brilliance when light shines through it."

"Size does matter," she pointed out to Kim, "but so does the size of the emotion behind it."

Amen. After Elizabeth's passing, many of her famed jewels were auctioned off by her estate. Kim splurged on three jade and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bracelets, a source told E! News. She reportedly shelled out around $65,000 for her piece of history, but clearly, those jewels are priceless!
