Lindsey Vonn continues to gush about her boyfriend Tiger Woods.

During an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman last night, the blond Olympian talked about her relationship with the 37-year-old pro golfer, and explained that their romance blossomed out of a friendship that was formed over their common love for sports.

"We're athletes, so I guess we have something in common there," Vonn told David Letterman in response to how their friendship began. "We met at his charity event in Vegas, Tiger Jam, and, yeah, we were friends for a long time. I don't know, we just kind of relate really well to one another."

The professional skier also shared that she isn't too shabby on the green.

"I have a hole-in-one, pretty proud of that. My first round of 18 holes I got a hole-in-one," she said. "It didn't bounce off a tree or anything and go into the hole. It was pretty legitimate."

Earlier today, Vonn also spoke to Matt Lauer on Today, and said that Tiger was crucial in her recovery after suffering a torn ACL and MCL and fracturing a bone in her right knee. "I'm not a very patient person," she told the cohost. "He's very patient and he's very mentally tough.

"He's a grinder. He works extremely hard, and he's obviously also had an ACL injury as well and had the same surgery, so he knew what I was going through. He said just be patient, keep working hard, and everything is going to turn around. It really helped me get through it."

Woods and Vonn have been dating since March 2013.
