Regardless of how tonight goes, Kanye West has his family there to support.

The rappers leading lady Kim Kardashian and their beautiful daughter North West were spotted arriving at the Jimmy Kimmel Live lot today, where Yeezy will make a guest appearance—his first face-to-face interaction with Jimmy Kimmel since their epic Twitter battle.

E! News learned yesterday that Kanye will be on the late-night show tonight, possibly a move to clear the air and call a truce with the host, who Yeezy slammed after he spoofed the artist's interview with BBC Radio One.

"Tonight you will bear witness to the great Kimmel-West Debate of 2013," Kimmel said during tonight's show. "I hope he doesn't have one of those trunk-popping machine guns like they had on Breaking Bad on the finale."

He added, "The only other time I was ever involved in a rap feud  of this magnitude was in 1992 when I accused Sir Mix-A-Lot of only liking medium butts...And just in case a rap battle breaks out tonight, I have in my possession The Complete Rhyming Dictionary.  So… it's on."

And for those who question whether or not this is all a prank, Kimmel said, "A lot of people on the internet seem to think that this was a setup or a prank  that we made the whole thing up to get publicity and I guess people are going to believe whatever they want to believe, but that really is not the case...I wish I had thought of that.  I just didn't.  You know honestly I've been too busy masterminding the giant prank going on in Washington D.C. right now.  That one is going gangbusters."

When teasing Yeezy's appearance on the show last night, Kimmel joked, "Kanye and I had a disagreement a couple of weeks ago and it got a little bit out of hand. Tomorrow night, we will sit down and discuss it like normal people do—on television," he added. "It'll just be us and Dr. Phil. And neither of us is leaving until this government shutdown gets solved. So if you've always wanted to see a talk show host get strangled by a pair of leather jogging pants, join us tomorrow."
