Tina Fey, Arcade Fire, Aaron Paul Kick Off Saturday Night Live's 39th Season—Check Out the Highlights!

She's back!

Tina Fey returned to the Saturday Night Live stage, along with musical guest Arcade Fire and several surprise cameos by Aaron Paul, to help kick off the show's 39th season.

"I am so glad to be here hosting Saturday Night Live because as some of you might know, I don't have a show anymore," she joked during her opening monologue. "And unless I am on TV once every three weeks, a little part of me dies."

The comedian mocked herself, by recounting some of her most "memorable" characters, including Johnny Jean Jacket, Queef Latina and Salvador Dali Parton. She invited the 6 newest cast members to join her during the obligatory dance routine with the host to help initiate (actually haze) them into the SNL family. The newbies donned matching gold hotpants and glittery jackets.  Hysterical.

Here are some highlights from the show!

Fey portrayed "Blerta" an Albanian roommate who got her clothes in a fire and suffers from OCD in a very amusing commercial parody based on Lena Dunham's Girls. Not that OCD, Old Cow Disease, which explained her rubber hand.

The featured players also appeared in an amusing skit, along with the musical guests, where Fey had to guess "New Cast Member or Arcade Fire." Kenan Thompson served as the host and SNL Executive Producer Lorne Michaels made an appearance.

It was Cecily Strong's first time joining Seth Meyers at the Weekend Update desk, where she thanked all of the "women who have come to the update desk before me." And of course Fey, who co-anchored Weekend Update for 6 years, was on hand to give her some invaluable tips.

"Keep your head down and do your time. On your first day, you go up to the biggest guy in the yard and you punch him in the face"

The cold open, in which President Obama (Jay Pharoah) touted Obamacare by bringing ordinary Americans to the podium, featured Paul as a surprise guest. He supported the President and testified as "Jesse from New Mexico" and stated that his chemistry teacher wouldn't have turned to cooking meth (and killing people) if he had Obamacare.

"And soon it wasn't just meth, it was murder," the Breaking Bad star said. "And not regular murder, like he blew half a guy's face off."

When he asked the President if he wanted to know what happened to him, the President (and everyone on stage) enthusiastically said "no!"

Arcade Fire performed two songs, "Reflektor" and "Here Comes the Night Time."
