Such was certainly the case at Sunday night's 2013 Emmy Awards, where viewers most likely missed the chance to see their favorite celebs acting in a way that didn't involve a script.
Take Sofia Vergara, for instance, who took advantage of a commercial break to snap a fun photo of herself and her Modern Family costar, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and his significant other, Justin Mikita.
Of course, we don't blame the gal for wanting something to remember the evening by. After all, her show did win its fourth consecutive Emmy for Best Comedy!
But she wasn't the only who was candidly caught on camera.
