Expectant mom Fergie is due any day now, but that doesn't mean Josh Duhamel's missus isn't maxing out her pre-baby time before she gets drafted into diaper duty. The 38-year-old pop star stepped out Tuesday to support her hubby at the premiere of his new movie, Scenic Route, in Los Angeles.
Looking appropriately rock-star chic in a studded leather jacket, black pants and black top, Fergie, who is due any day now, gamely posed for shutterbugs while her man proudly cradled her massive baby bump.
E! News later caught up with Duhamel, 40, who gave props to his wife for being "a champion" throughout the pregnancy. (In June, the proud pop-to-be revealed that they are expecting a son.)
He also heaved a sigh of relief and said that the premiere wasn't too far from their house, which meant—should the baby have decided to arrive during the premiere (it obviously opted out)—they could easily make a pit stop on the way to the hospital.
Duhamel also opened up about what he thinks their parenting style will be, admitting that he and Fergie have "a little bit" of a disciplinarian in them and revealing that both of them grew up without being able to get away with much.
So who'll be sneaking snacks to their wee one, once he stars clamoring for munchies and sweets?
Duhamel offers up a mea culpa, saying that he's "pretty soft" and that since he's usually sneaking snacks to their dog, it'll probably be him. (Maybe it's Duhamel whom Fergie should keep on a tight leash!)
As for the expectant mom, she's clearly enjoying the perks that come with welcoming a new baby: She had no fewer than three baby showers over the past three weeks, including a "gayby shower" attended by pals Lance Bass, Adam Lambert and JuliaNne Hough, as well as a get-together with her Black Eyed Peas pals apl.de.ap and will.i.am.
Oh, that Baby Duhamel: He ain't born yet but he's already quite the party animal.
