He must feel like he got an infusion of Adamantium because nothing's gonna bring Troye Sivan down.

The Australian actor best known for playing a young James Howlett, aka Logan, in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has come out as gay in a video declaration on YouTube that's since gone viral.

"This is probably the most nervous I've ever been in my entire life, but I'm going to deal with it. Because I have something to tell you guys as you can probably see by the title of this video," Sivan told his fanbase on his channel. "On Aug. 7, 2010, I told my family that I am gay. And on Aug. 7, 2013, I want you guys to know that I'm gay."

The 18-year-old, who's an avid poster on the video-sharing site, admitted coming out of the closet over the Internet, "felt kind of weird," but said he felt a closeness with his viewers, whom he called "real genuine friends of mine."

"This is not something that I'm ashamed of and it's not something anybody should have to be ashamed of. So why not share it with all of you guys," Sivan added. "I'm terrified. I know some people are going to have a problem with this. This could kind of change everything for me. But it shouldn't have to."

He continued: "And that's why I'm making this video and that's why I think it's important that people make these kinds of videos because my aim on this channel is to make you guys smile and you guys laugh. And that's never going to change…this is just some new information about Troy."

Troye, who's also a successful singer having been a grand finalist in the 2007 edition of Australia's version of StarSearch, also revealed that he's felt "different" ever since he was born, but the word "gay" used to scare him when he was younger. He also imagined as a kid putting a big "X" over the "men's" restroom sign.

But it wasn't until he had a conversation with his BFF, he said, that he realized he might be bisexual which propelled him to finally deal with his sexuality.

Sivan wrapped up his announcement by expressing hope that 14-year-olds having the kinds of questions about themselves that he had will watch his or similar coming out videos because, indeed, it gets better.

"It kind of showed me it's okay and there's people out there living healthy, happy lives and they happen to be gay and it's fine," he said.
