BRAND NEW ON E!
James Gandolfini may be gone, but thankfully Sopranos fans and the world can still marvel at his legendary talent.
The first trailer for Enough Said, which features the late actor's penultimate performance, has hit the web and finds Gandolfini in classic understated form as he teams up with Julia Louis-Dreyfus for a comedy about middle-age romance.
Gandolfini plays a gentle divorced dad named Albert who begins dating Eva, a masseuse (Louis-Dreyfus) whom he meets at a party and asks out after both realize there's no other partygoers they're attracted to.
When she learns that he's actually the ex-husband of her new client and BFF (Catherine Keener) who has nothing nice to say about him, hilarity ensues.
Enough Said, directed by Nicole Holofcener (Walking and Talking), costars Toni Collette and Ben Falcone. It's set to premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival next month before hitting theaters courtesy of Fox Searchlight on Sept. 20.
Thankfully, there's still one final Gandolfini performance in the pipeline however.
Before he died of a heart attack at age 51 in June, the Emmy-winning star also had finished filming a role in the upcoming crime drama, Animal Rescue, opposite Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace. That flick is in postproduction and due out next year.
Unfortunately, an HBO pilot Gandolfini shot titled Criminal Justice has been put on hold so its creators can decide whether to move ahead with the drama without him or recast his part entirely. No word when HBO will make its decision.
