We've already seen the pics, as well as a brief teaser, of Naomi Watts' amazing transformation into Princess Diana for the upcoming biopic Diana. Now comes the film's first full international trailer, which essentially proves she was the right actress to play the part of the People's Princess.

Sure, upon watching the clip, it certainly seems as if the movie will do a pretty thorough job when it comes to focusing on Diana's romantic relationship with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan. But it's also quite the showcase for Watts' enormous talents. Then again, when are any of her films not?

In this case, however, the two-time Oscar nominee appears to have outdone herself.

Watch: Liev Schreiber's Shocking Transformation

It's a sentiment that Watts' longtime partner, Liev Schreiber, seems to share.

"I think you can expect, well, what we've all come to expect from Naomi, which is nothing but excellence," Schreiber told E! News when asked about his ladylove's performance at Monday's New York City premiere of his upcoming movie Lee Daniel's The Butler. "I haven't seen the film. I've seen some outtakes, I've seen some scenes and she looks fabulous. I mean, she looks, sounds, feels like Diana and I'm really looking forward to it.

Diana is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.K. on Sept. 20, with a U.S. release set for Oct. 10.
