Fortunately, things between the Bridesmaids star and Strokes drummer are "completely amicable," a source tells Us Weekly, adding, "They are friends."
Wiig, 39, and Moretti, 33, stepped out for the first time as a couple in early 2012. The Saturday Night Live alum doesn't share too much about her personal life, but in July 2012, she did reveal to Marie Claire she was "happier than I've ever been" because of "where I am now. Who [Moretti] is."
Prior to her relationship with the musician, Wiig was in a four-year marriage with actor Hayes Hargrove and then briefly dated producer Brian Petsos. Moretti was famously linked to Drew Barrymore from 2002 to 2007.
Barrymore, who now has a 10-month-old daughter with husband Will Kopelman, is a friend of Wiig's, and she had no problem with the Bridesmaids beauty dating her ex. In fact, she found it kind of funny, given that Wiig used to impersonate her on SNL. "She's got me down," Barrymore told Allure, joking about Wiig and her ex-beau's relationship, "It all seems so wacky and incestuous, but that's kind of how life works."
