Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are in the family way again, their publicist announced today.

The child is due next spring, though no word on whether the expected addition is of the boy or girl variety.

Zeta-Jones gave birth to her and Douglas' first child, Dylan, in August 2000. Douglas also has a son, Cameron, now 23, from his first marriage to Diandra Douglas.

"Apparently, with the upcoming release of Michael's next film, A Few Good Years, which stars three generations of Douglases, Michael and Catherine felt there was room for some more!" Douglas says on his Website.

A family drama, A Few Good Years stars Michael along with his iconic dad, Kirk, 85, and son Cameron. It's due out on Valentine's Day 2003.

Zeta-Jones and Douglas, 33 and 58, respectively, wed in November 2000, in a starry affair at New York's posh Plaza Hotel. The nuptials were attended by the likes of a pre-scandal Martha Stewart and a pre-breakup Russell Crowe and Meg Ryan.

In addition to its A-list guest list, the wedding raised eyebrows for Douglas and Zeta-Jones' request that, in lieu of gifts, well-wishers write checks for their baby boy Dylan, then just 3 months old.

Why did the offspring of two movie stars need handouts? He didn't. The Douglases explained they wanted to use the money to establish the Dylan Michael Douglas Fund, a charity the kid will oversee once he loses the baby fat and turns 21.

According to the Smoking Gun, the Dylan Michael Douglas Fund received $142,000 in donations through early 2001, including a $100 contribution from the CEO of the Blimpie sandwich chain.

No word if the Untitled Douglas-Zeta-Jones Baby will be similarly immortalized in charity form.

News of Zeta-Jones' pregnancy comes as the Welsh-born actress is awaiting the debut of another pretty big baby: The movie musical version of Chicago.

The highly anticipated flick--highly anticipated because of the hit Broadway revival of the same name--is due to be released December 27, just in time for Oscar consideration. Zeta-Jones and Renée Zellweger star as Chicago cons who scam the court system, with a little flash, sass and well-timed dance step.

Zeta-Jones also recently wrapped shooting on the next Coen brothers flick Intolerable Cruelty, a romantic comedy costarring George Clooney and due out in April 2003, about the same time as the baby.
