That's right, former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson decided to celebrate the national holiday with a little late-night swim.
Joined by her close girlfriend, the reality star stripped down to her thong and made a splash in Big Bear Lake, Calif.
After dropping her clothes and heading out to the end of a dock, she took the plunge. "Skinny dipping lol," the 28-year-old captioned the Instagram photo of the event.
Thankfully, the jump wasn't too high for the former Splash contestant. Wilkinson shocked fans when she quit the reality show that had contestants diving into a deep pool of water.
"I'm so sorry, everybody," Wilkinson said when she was unable to dive from the 23-foot-high platform. "This is the first time in my life I've quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life."
Those fears and hesitations were swept away Thursday night as the girls let loose. Happy Independence Day, indeed!
Skinny dipping isn't the only fun activity Wilkinson is participating in during these hot summer months.
The proud mom recently told E! News she's trying for baby number two with husband, Hank Baskett.
"If we were to have baby No. 2, I think we would be OK," Wilkinson said. "We're getting closer and closer."
In the meantime, Wilkinson looks to be having plenty of fun with her family, gal pals and the water. Happy summer girl!
