Jon Stewart planned on giving a heartfelt goodbye to The Daily Show before going on summer hiatus to direct his first feature film, but his replacement John Oliver had other plans.

At the end of last night's episode, Stewart was interrupted by Oliver, who was too busy measuring the desk and yammering on a cell phone about something pink to notice that the departing Daily Show host was trying to say farewell. And then there is that moment of zen that left Stewart with a bad taste in his mouth.
