Will Arnett is opening up about his split from Amy Poehler following the couple's separation last September.

The Arrested Development star dished to Details magazine about his life after the duo's break-up, saying "I've found my happiness," and revealed his newfound "obsession" with the gym.

When asked about his post-split physique, Will said going to the gym became a coping mechanism for him.

"If going to the gym obsessively for eight, nine months was my way of dealing, then let that be my worst problem," Will told the mag. "Life is challenging, and I'd say that there's no guidebook—but there's about a million guidebooks out there."

"All people have been doing since the dawn of time is trying to figure out how to live this life and be happy," Arnett continued. "I'm no different. I'm 43, and I've found my happiness—which is my kids."

While the funnyman said he still believes in the institution of marriage, he hasn't gone back to the dating scene just yet.

"I'm not officially dating," he continued. "I don't know what you do. Do you put out an announcement in the trades? I'M DATING! It all seems very scary to me, to be honest. So I'm kind of keeping pretty close counsel right now."

Arnett and Poehler, who wed in 2003, have two sons together, Archie, 4, and Abel, 2.

This was Arnett's second trip down the aisle—he previously divorced Penelope Ann Miller in 1995 after one year of marriage.
