That just may be the case for Harry Styles, who is believed to be serving as one at his mother's wedding this weekend.
According to the Daily Mirror, the One Direction star is said to be thrilled to do so when mom Anne Cox ties the knot with Robin Twist, who helped to raise Styles after his parents split when he was 7.
The bride and groom apparently chose this Saturday to get hitched as it fits in with One Direction's busy tour schedule. While the soon-to-be newlyweds live in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, details of the wedding location are supposedly being kept under wraps to ensure privacy.
In addition to Styles, there was talk that the rest of the band might also be attending.
However, Cox seemed to squelch such speculation on Friday when she tweeted: "Thank you all for your kind wishes for tomorrow. Please note that 'the boys' will NOT be there. It is a small, private family affair."
Of course, if Styles does in fact do the honors, it won't be a complete surprise. After all, he and his mom are very close, with Cox having been her son's date at this year's Brit Awards.
