Get ready to grab a tissue.
A number of country artists took the stage tonight for the Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert to help raise profits for the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund, and the event, hosted by Blake Shelton, was already a heartfelt gesture.
But once his wife Miranda Lambert started to perform, the tears started to roll.
It was hard to watch Lambert's performance of "The House That Built Me" without get choked up, because she herself struggled to finish the song.
At one point, the camera did a close-up of the country crooner, who was welling up with tears and had to stop singing for a few moments to regain her composure.
Miranda mouthed, "Sorry" to the crowd, who continued to cheer her on. Lambert's raw and sensitive delivery definitely did not need an apology, and touched many of those who witnessed it—including fellow singers.
"Just re-watched @mirandalambert on #HealOK. Love your tender heart, Miranda—thank you for sharing your love for OK & those sweet animals," Sheryl Crowe tweeted.
Reba McEntire, Ryan Tedder, Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan also performed tonight.
