Today is a big day for Eva Longoria!

The actress announced on Twitter that she's graduating with her master's degree in Chicano studies from California State University, Northridge.

She revealed to E! News earlier this month that she'd been working on her thesis up until the very last minute to ensure that she graduated on time.

She shared with fans, "You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"

Fellow actresses Garcelle Beauvais and Marcia Cross sent their well-wishes to the actress turned activist via Twitter.

Beauvais wrote, "Proud of you Eva."

Meanwhile her former Desperate Housewives costar tweeted, "Huge congratulations on your graduation today!!!! From Canne to Cap and Gown. You are really something. Xoxo m."

Congratulations, Eva, on your inspirational achievement!
