NBA star Kevin Durant made an overwhelmingly generous donation of $1 million to the American Red Cross through his Durant Family Foundation. While the basketball star didn't go public with his contribution, the Red Cross of Oklahoma announced the news themselves.
Oklahoma native Reba McEntire told E! News that her family is safe and that "Okies are strong people."
She added, "My heart, my prayers and my thoughts are going out strong to my fellow Okies who are hurting today. Because when one Okie hurts, we all hurt."
Olivia Munn also spoke out about her home state. The actress told E! News: "I'm very thankful that the media has been helping get out vital information and I feel that all of the attention right now should go towards helping the homeless and displaced in Oklahoma. My heart is most definitely in Oklahoma right now, especially with all those families who have suffered the devastating loss of a loved one."
