The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has introduced some Oscar voting reforms at the year's first membership meeting.
According to the LA Times, in an attempt to increase member involvement, the organization revealed that all members will now be allowed to vote for foreign language films and documentary feature as well as several other categories without attending theatrical screenings of all the films.
Members will now be eligible to vote after viewing a screening or watching a DVD. Other categories that can also now be screened on DVD include documentary short subject, animated short film and live action short film.
The 86th annual Academy Awards are set for March 2, 2014.
