Kids these days, with their EDM-ing all over each other and dougie-ing at all hours of the night, have no respect for dance etiquette of ye olden days. A time when you had to prove yourself on the dance floor before being certified to twerk. When bitter exes like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake bumped into each other at the night club and settled their beef the way adults settle beef: with a dance-off.
But it seems the art of a dance off has not been lost on the next generation, as Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis partook in a dance battle during an MTV Movie Awards afterparty.
Her foe? Some rando named Rachel. At least that's what we gather from the YouTube description: "Rachel's dance battle with Quvenzhane Wallis at MTV after party," writes Rachel's mom (who, as the competition heats up, utters "Oh s--t!," indicating that no one was messing around. Not even the parents!!!!).
The video cuts off before the battle concludes (thanks a lot, Rachel's mom! Get a bigger memory card and calm down with the Michael Bay cinematography!) so we're not sure who left the dance floor with their pride intact and who is never allowed to return to the MTV Movie Awards ever again (ever). But that rando Rachel did hit the dance floor with a cartwheel which is some next level shiz.
