PDA of the Day: Jesse Metcalfe and Girlfriend Cara Santana Cuddle on the Court

E! News learns that the duo were never engaged, but are happily dating (as shown by their sweet photo at a Lakers game)

Actor Jesse Metcalfe and his lady Cara Santana are very much in love, but there's no plan on walking down the aisle (just yet, anyway).

Despite being identified as his fiancée by some outlets, a source tells E! News that Metcalfe and Santana are happily dating, but the two have never been engaged.

Regardless, this duo lit up the basketball court with their sweet public displays of affection while rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers as they played the New Orleans Hornets last night at the Staples Center in L.A.

Metcalfe and Santana couldn't keep their arms off of each other—unless there was an awesome play that required a quick stand-up cheer—and even shared a smooch for the camera. "Omg! Kiss-Cam at Lakers game! #redfaced#embarrassed," Santana tweeted. 

And although the constantly smiling pair seemed very interested in the game (when they weren't focusing on each other or the other courtside sights), Jesse made sure to point out that his loyalties lie elsewhere.

"But don't get it twisted. #knicksfanforlife," he tweeted.
