Grisly details of an alleged murder plot against pop-soul songbird Joss Stone emerged Monday as the two men accused of allegedly hatching the thwarted plan stood trial in London.

In the first day of proceedings, prosecutors revealed that Junior Bradshaw, 32, and Kevin Liverpool, 35, allegedly planned to decapitate the singer before dumping her body in a river, per published reports.

The two were reportedly found with a samurai sword, hammer and knives, as well as gloves and black bags, when they were arrested in June 2011 near Stone's home in Devon after suspicious neighbors reported them to authorities.

Authorities also discovered several handwritten notes in the suspects' vehicle supposedly mapping out their alleged plot.

Among other revelations, the notes reportedly cited plans to "decapitate" the singer, along with sections that read, "Jocelyn RIP" and "Once Jocelyn's dead ... find a river to dump her."

The two were also purportedly incensed that Stone had been invited to attend the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011.

Prosecutors claimed that Bradshaw and Liverpool were part of a larger gang, although authorities had yet to track down other members.

The suspects were caught when neighbors flagged police after noticing the two driving slowly and suspiciously around Devon in a red Fiat Punto.

Police initially arrested Bradshaw and Liverpool for possession of offensive weapons, but those charges were later upgraded to conspiracy to rob and murder the singer after investigators discovered evidence in the vehicle that revealed their alleged plans.
