Steven Tyler and fiancée Erin Brady's relationship has reportedly hit a rough patch.
The tabloid story claims that the "Love in an Elevator" singer called off the engagement because he found it hard to maintain his sobriety and a relationship with the 38-year-old model.
"Steven has been trying to maintain his lifestyle and to stay clean," a music source tells Page Six. "The tour is really important to him and the band. So he decided to end it."
The tabloid's insider also added that Brady has "been kind of a Yoko Ono character," and it hasn't been easy for the hard rock group to connect with the beauty.
However, Camp Tyler insists any reports of a split are completely false:
"Just as any couple goes through trials and tribulations in a relationship, Steven and Erin are asking for their privacy at this time," a rep for Aerosmith tells E! News. "They are engaged to be married and each committed to their sobriety. Any claim to the contrary is absolutely false."
The former American Idol judge proposed to his girlfriend in Hawaii last year. The two have been dating since 2006.
In addition to the band's Global Warming tour, Aerosmith is also gearing up for the release of their album Music From Another Dimension!—the group's first all-new set since 2001's Just Push Play.
