Musician Peter Gabriel celebrated the 25th anniversary of his commercial blockbuster So by opening his "Back to Front" show at the Hollywood Bowl last night, and gave the crowd a surprise appearance by none other than John Cusack.

The actor took the stage to kick off Gabriel's song, "In Your Eyes," which you might remember from the famous '80s film, Say Anything. But that's not all—Cusack came out with a boom box in hand, just like his character Lloyd Dobler.

He then handed it off to Gabriel, who recreated the famous scene by holding the boom box over his head before going into the song, and even gave a shout-out to filmmaker Cameron Crowe, who was also in the crowd, later on in the show.

"Peter Gabriel and John Cusack on stage together at the Hollywood Bowl tonight. Won't forget that... ever," Crowe tweeted, to which Cusack responded, "And I will never forget Cameron," and added, "If I were u I would follow @CameronCrowe and occasionally suggest we work together again - was so happy to see him last night at gabriel."
