Nothing like celebrities doing a good thing.

Olivia Wilde, Katharine McPhee, Selena Gomez, John Legend and Jake Gyllenhaal—to name a few—were among the high-wattage stars on hand for the Global Citizens Festival in New York's Central Park yesterday.

The festival celebrated achievements made towards ending extreme poverty in this generation and featured performances by the likes of Neil Young, Foo Fighters and Black Keys.

Around 60,000 people attended the event which made history as the largest syndicated music charity webcast and broadcast.
