Michael Bluth meet Adam Demamp. We have a feelin' you might just hate him!
When Arrested Development returns for its highly anticipated fourth season (and we do mean highly—five years of anticipation, to be exact) it will come with a cameo by a funnyman made famous by another cult comedy: Workaholics' Adam DeVine.
"Yeah! We had a little cameo in Arrested Development," Adam told us last night at the premiere of his film, Pitch Perfect. "And I can't even talk about it, I signed some disclosure."
Well, he couldn't tell us too much, at least, but DeVine—who came to fame on Workaholics—did reveal a few details about his appearance:
"[Michael] is trying to get out of town and I work at the airline that he's trying to get at," Adam teased. "And I'm totally inept. I don't know how to print a ticket or get his bags on the plane, so he's having a hard time with me."
Fans of the former Fox series (which returns on Netflix in Spring of 2013 for 10 episodes and a movie) might remember DeVine popped up in one of Jason Bateman's onset TwitPics along with his Workaholic cohorts Blake Anderson and Anders Holm. The trio joins Mad Men's John Slattery, Isla Fisher and Terry Crews on the season four guest slate.
"Awesome!" Adam gushed when we asked how his time on set was. "Jason Bateman is just like, just a really cool dude."
A.D. will be just the next success for the hilarious actor (that's him with the nipple on the right above with his Workaholics buds), who you'll see going head-to-head with Rebel Wilson in Pitch Perfect, "It's cool to see like a dude like me, like a normal looking dude with a slight bit of neck fat, just go out and he's suddenly Mr. Cool guy and chicks are freaking out over it...I don't know if it'll work out like that [for me], we'll see.
So what's his sing-along song of choice? "I usually do a Paperboy's "Ditty. Or I just do something by Pantera and scare everyone. That's scary, because you don't really need to know any words you just need to go, ‘Raaaaaaaaaaah!'"
