Following months of bitter battles with her family, it was time for Janet Jackson to indulge in something sweet.

The superstar singer hit the grand opening of Dylan's Candy Bar at the Grove in Los Angeles Saturday to do just that, indulging in various candies and lollipops while she was at it.

"Yes! Definitely! I love caramel," Jackson told E! News when asked if she had a sweet tooth.

So, what brought the "Feedback" singer out to this particular candy store?

"I've known Dylan for a very long time and I first saw the candy bar in New York," Jackson went on.

Ralph Lauren's daughter, Dylan Lauren, opened up her flagship candy haven in New York City in 2001. The Grove location is her first store in Los Angeles.

While Jackson said she wasn't picking up any candy for her nieces and nephews, she made sure not to leave empty handed.

"Just for security. I got some Swedish fish for Joey," Jackson said of her bodyguard.

Jackson's boyfriend Wissam Al Mana was also in attendance for the event, along with many other celebrities including Marcia Cross, Soleil Moon Frye, Justine Bateman, Dylan Walsh, Blaire Underwood and Jason Biggs.
