Oh, wait, this is Fashion Police, and that ostrich is Kate Beckinsale while the feathery emu is Jessica Biel at the London premiere of Total Recall. Our bad!

We can't imagine this black swan versus white swan combo was a happy accident. Something tells us that late last night Biel put in a call to her BFF Kate and said, "I'm about to get married, so I'm going to wear white. Wouldn't it be really fun if you wore black? So, then we're like that Michael Jackson song, about different colors, and stuff?"

Here's the truly funny thing, though—their diabolical yin and yang plan actually worked.

The Giambattista Valli high-necked, long-sleeved dress with feathered waist and beaded skirt that Biel sucked herself into is gorgeous. It makes her look...how do we say this nicely…like a swan on steroids who we want to pet but are also terrified might bite us. It's the high-fash diva we've always wanted to see, and here Biel is finally able to bring it. Plus, to top it all off, she pairs the look with some killer Ferragamo pumps. Perfection.

Then we have the original badass, Beckinsale, whose black Donna Karen strapless gown with sequin details and a bow-cinched waist is absolutely stunning. The black Louboutin platforms give her just the right height, and her makeup and hair are flawless.

What can we say? We're suckers for that whole opposites attract thing.
