Bolting for gold—that sounds about right.

One of possibly the biggest highlilghts from today's games will be Usain Bolt competing for his fifth Olympic gold medal when he races in the 200-meter final. His biggest competition will be teammate Yohan Blake, who beat Bolt during the trials.

U.S. record holder Ashton Eaton will try to finish with the gold in the decathlon, which ends today with final five disciplines: the 110 hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and 1,500-meters. Eaton is currently in the lead with 4,661 points.

As far as the rest of track and field today, the women will go for the gold in javelin, while the men compete for a medal in the triple jump and 800-meters.

A widely anticipated event will be a 2011 Women's World Cup final déjà vu as the U.S. women's soccer team faces Japan. The U.S. team will be working toward capturing its third consecutive Olympic gold.

The U.S. women's basketeball team will also take on Australia today, and the women's water polo team will try to snag their first gold as they go up against Spain for the final in that tournament.
