Ryan Lochte and Lil Wayne: BFFs?

Rapper tweets well wishes to the Olympian, who followed up with a potential hangout

Those who grill together, stay together.

Olympic swimmer and medal-winner Ryan Lochte, who showed his appreciation of the hip-hop culture when he flashed his dental bling to the world, is apparently very in with the rap world.

Or at least when it comes to Lil Wayne. 

"Much luv to Ryan Lochte and the USA swim team!!!!" the rapper tweeted today.

"thanks man appreciate it," Lochte responded. "When I get back we gotta go skateboarding #Jeah"

But Ryan's not the only swimmer on Tunechi's mind: "High praises to my good friend Michael Phelps for becoming the greatest Olympian of all time.USA!!"

And they're the three best friends that anybody could have!

As for Lochte's famous mouthpiece, E! News caught up with former rapper and now grill-maker Paul Wall to discuss the deet's on creating the swimmer's studded accessory (which, by the way, is not his first).

"You definitely see an improvement from the first [grill] one to now," Wall said. "He can afford a top-notch grill like that and at the same time, we wanna support him, too, so we gave him a good discount…We really took our time to make sure every diamond was hand set and every diamond was done one-by-one."
