E! News confirms that Billy the Exterminator star William Bretherton and his wife have pleaded not guilty to drug charges in Louisiana today.

What's that confused look on your face? You don't remember what happened?

Well, like many unfortunate events, it all started in a hotel room.

The A&E reality TV show star was arrested in early June for drug possession after police had issued a warrant a week prior for Bretherton and his wife.

Bossier City spokesman Mark Natale said authorities found items that tested positive for synthetic marijuana in Bretherton's hotel room, along with a device commonly used to smoke narcotics.

Bretherton and his wife surrendered to cops and were later released after each posted a $6,000 bail.

The couple have not yet hired an attorney but plan to do so before their Sept. 19 hearing in front of a judge.
