Turns out, blood is thicker than flour. Just in case there was any debate.
Yesterday, Khloé Kardashian Odom valiantly came to the defense of her sister Kim Kardashian and stepped back from publicly allying herself with PETA after it came to light that the woman responsible for the now infamous flour-bombing of her sister last week had rather close ties to the animal-rights organization.
Well, now PETA has responded to Khloé's decision. Yikes. Does this mean Khloé should start watching her back on any future red carpet struts?
Nah! The duo's parting seems just about as amicable as it could get, considering the circumstances, and that's no doubt owing to Khloé's wise decision to reassert her anti-fur-wearing stance just as she was cutting ties with the bullying-prone organization.
And that seems to be good enough for PETA.
"We appreciate that Khloé will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur—that's what counts," a rep for the group told E! News. "If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing.
"Khloé is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister."
Oh, PETA. You should realize by now: Nobody puts Kimmy in a corner!
