Your hoodie may be fatal, according to Geraldo Rivera.

As if the Feb. 26 shooting death of Florida high school student Trayvon Martin by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman hasn't sparked enough controversy, Geraldo Rivera fanned the flames just that much more when he chimed in Thursday evening tweeting, "His hoodie killed Trayvon Martin as surely as George Zimmerman," among other things

Parks and Recreation's Aziz Ansari among others responded quickly to the former talk show host's comments, tweeting succinctly, "It's really appropriate to tweet this any day, but seriously - F--k you Geraldo."

Take a look at what other celebs including Diddy, Spike Lee, Gilles Marini and Lebron James have had to say on Twitter, many of whom posted pictures of themselves in hooded sweatshirts to show solidarity with the slain teen.

Ever since the tragic incident, however, numerous celebrities have been calling for justice and rallying for the prosecution of Zimmerman, who claimed self-defense and has yet to be arrested after shooting the unarmed 17-year-old as Martin made his way home wearing a hooded sweatshirt to shield himself from the rain.

Russell Simmons, who has been particularly vocal with his support via Twitter and Facebook, tweeted March 15, "Let's seek justice for Trayvon Martin. We will fight for a society that is compassionate and loving, not one that pre-judges and stereotypes." Simmons later continued, "There are 17,000 people on our facebook page: Justice For Trayvon Martin. pls join us... http://on.fb.me/yKjNtj"
