Being a mom is a full-time job—and so is starring on an award-winning hit TV show.

With that in mind, one actress in particular is thinking that, though she loves her family-minded guy, she's not quite ready to have children with him.

"I guess I am going to think about freezing my eggs," the charismatic beauty says in the latest issue of InStyle.

So which small-screen standout is putting the idea of kids on ice for now?

Talk about your modern families!

Sofia Vergara, already mom to 19-year-old son Manolo, is the one who's over the moon about boyfriend Nick Loeb but is well aware what a huge step having more children will be.

"I am naturally very nervous and protected," Vergara says in the cover story for InStyle's April issue. "I don't know how I would have handled a daughter. I'd be having a heart attack all the time."

But it sounds as if the 39-year-old Emmy nominee, who became a mom when she was 20 and claims that she had to "fake it to make it" in Hollywood, is tough enough to handle anything.

"I didn't want my son to get attached," the natural blonde(!) says, explaining why she never lived with a boyfriend before Manolo moved out. "Now I can do whatever I want!"

She and Loeb met in 2010 at a post-SAG Awards dinner. And while that year was just a trial run for the cast of Modern Family, they have since enjoyed consecutive wins for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
