And the hits balls just keep on coming!

First it was Justin Timberlake, then Kristin Cavallari, followed by Mila Kunis.

Now E!'s very own Ashlan Gorse is the latest famous face to join our troops at one of their shindigs.

The E! News correspondent was on hand at the 79th Brigade Special Troops Battalion Ball in San Diego on Sunday.

"I had heard that there was a video on YouTube of a couple of the guys asking me to go their military ball," recalls Gorse. "I was so flattered."

While at the event, the E! News Now anchor expressed her gratitude for being invited and shared why it meant so much for her to be there.

"For a couple of different reasons. I've always been very supportive of our military in keeping all of us safe," said Gorse. "But also, my brother-in-law is a Desert Storm vet and he just started a non-profit called Boulder Crest...it's working with wounded warriors so they have a place to go, and their families have a place to go, while up in D.C. getting all of their surgeries done. So, he's the main reason I'm here."

But why her, Gorse wondered aloud, while talking to some of the men in uniform.

"We looked at Justin Timberlake's calendar and it looked full," joked one. "And we figured you would look better in a dress."
