Weezy's no Tony Hawk, that's for sure.
Lil Wayne was rushed to the emergency room in St. Louis last night after falling off his skateboard and bumping his head.
Lights Out indeed.
The platinum-selling rapper was admitted to DePaul Health Center with a nasty cut on his forehead after wiping out at a skateboarding park near the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, where he had just finished giving a concert.
Fans will be happy to hear however that Lil Wayne is doing fine.
"The Lou was good but I busted my fuggin head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people," the hip-hopster tweeted after doctors patched him up.
Lil Wayne is scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday in Los Angeles. To mark the occasion (and maximize album sales), he has announced plans to drop his latest disc, Tha Carter IV, immediately following the show at midnight both digitally via iTunes, other online sites and at brick-and-mortar shops. The record is also available for preorder through his website as well.
