Holy déjà Farrah!
Rumor has it that viewers will be able to spot the student and sometime model in ABC's upcoming reboot of Charlie's Angels, starring Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh as modern-day versions of the saucy, sexy detectives originated by Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett (or Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu for you whippersnappers out there).
So, is this rumor just too good to be true because of the whole "Farrah" thing, or is Abraham about to make a splash on a broadcast network? Hang onto your skin-tight crimefighting gear, because this story is...
"YAY!!! I MET GREAT people at a casting. & im going to be in the New Charlie Angels movie! Good luck to the other amazing Casties :)," Abraham tweeted yesterday.
First up, someone make sure the 20-year-old knows she's going to still be on the small screen, not the big one. But after that...good for her, right?
ABC's upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot is one of the most anticipated shows of the fall—be it because fans are nostagically psyched for the cheesy goodness or because people love a good trainwreck and are hoping for the worst.
The show held an open casting call for extras Sunday at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale, where Abraham lives with daughter Sophia.
ABC, meanwhile, is only confirming that Abraham applied for the gig but is declining to comment further. Perhaps that's for the best.
