Andy Dick is less than perfect when it comes to boozing.
The problem-prone funnyman was taken into custody Monday night in Temecula, Calif., after allegedly "causing a disturbance" at a Marie Callendar's restaurant, a police spokesman confirms to E! News.
So what did Dick do this time?
Temecula police tell us that officers were called to the bar at the establishment after employees complained about the 45-year-old comic actor's dickish behavior.
"Mr. Dick was intoxicated," says the spokesman. "He was unable to care for his own safety and we arrested him for public intoxication. He was transported to our local facility here."
The spokesman adds that Dick, who's been in and out of rehab over the years for alcohol abuse and appeared on VH1's Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, was not charged and was simply held until he was "detoxified" and released later that evening.
According to authorities, since there was no physical altercation involved, Dick will not face legal issues surrounding the incident, nor will he have to pay any fines.
A rep for the comedian was unavailable for comment.
