Jesse James Embraces Bad Boy Image With New Book Cover

Sandra Bullock's ex finally gives in to the inevitable, poses as the ultimate outsider for new memoir, American Outlaw

They say a picture's worth a thousand words. But this one might warrant just a few more.

It appears as though Jesse James (he of Sandra Bullock heartbreaking and Kat Von D engaging—or maybe marrying?—antics) is finally ready to fully embrace his bad boy image by cutting quite the shadowy, stony-eyed figure on the cover of his new memoir.

And if the pose didn't clue you in, the fact that he titled it American Outlaw should've. Well, no one ever accused him of being subtle.

And they certainly won't after seeing that the back cover features a photo of him in full gunslinger mode. The book, which the 41-year-old has said will detail his addiction, upbringing, fatherhood and, yes, marriages, is due out May 3.
