Ricki Lake and Family OK After Malibu House Fire

Former daytime darling Ricki Lake experienced a scary start to her weekend Saturday morning after her Malibu rental home went up in flames.
Thankfully, Lake's rep tells E! News that the actress, her two sons Sebastian, 13, and Owen, 9, and their dog escaped the fire without injury, but the house didn't fare as well.
According to ET Online, Lake told authorities she was attempting to refuel a portable heater when a couch caught fire, and the flames quickly engulfed the wooden house.
An investigation into the fire is ongoing.
